From Sho'Larna

Phargath.

Phargath is dead, I still can not believe it. We were stunned. We knew that what we are doing is dangerous, but one of us being killed has made us think about the risks. Is what we are doing worth risking our lives? My answer is yes. I need to find out what has happened to our village, for Phargath now, as well as for myself. After that, I, as yet, have no answer. That is something I will face after I find what has become of my family.

You don't realise how much something means to you until it's gone. Phargath's death has left such a huge hole within me and the group. Laz and I have known him since we were children. He was my brother's friend.

He always seemed to know what to do and have an opinion about everything and at times he could be so arrogant that it was infuriating. I still wake up in the morning expecting to hear some wisecrack from him. I never did tell him that his words could hurt so much, it's something that I will always wish I had done. I'm sure that he did not mean to cause hurt, but I'll never know.

I really feel sorry for Heather. They had so little time together. Phargath was looking forward to being a father. He was happier than I've ever seen him. I know we cannot replace Phargath, but his son will have an uncle, four aunties and a storm wolf who will always be there for him. (And Heather, too!)

Laz has become an Elementalist in Phargath's memory.

He gave his life to save us. Phargath, I give my thanks. I will miss you.

Bye.
